Ex Atomic Kitten star Liz McClarnon finished runner up in the ITV show Celebrity Love Island. Liz, along with footballer Lee Sharpe came second to surprise winners Fran Cosgrove and Jayne Middlemiss. Liz was rather quiet throughout the series, shot in Fiji, although the show did see her voted into the ’Love Shack’ with Fran, who just happens to be an ex of fellow kitten Natasha Hamilton. Sadly though, nothing happened.

The girl band Atomic Kitten have decided to take a break, although they have denied reports they are splitting up permanently.

It seems that Natasha Hamilton has said she needs time out as she isn’t spending enough time with her young son, Josh. She said ’I’ve not really had a moment to be with him consistently and properly since he was born, having released two albums and six singles since 2002 and promoted them around the world.

"I knew that the time would come when I’d need to take time out and luckily the band’s in great shape following a brilliant autumn, and I have wonderful mates in Jen and Liz, at my management company and at Innocent Records who support me completely."

The Kittens recently had to cancel a tour abroad after Natasha heard that Josh was ill with a temperature, and caught the first flight home to be with him.

Jenny Frost and Liz McClaron are considering pursuing solo careers during the break, although they are stressing that the girls have not split up completely.

Liverpudlian Atomic Kitten Liz McClaron just cannot keep her paws off boy band members.

First there was Lee from Blue, then only a few weeks ago it was Kian from Westlife, and now its back to Lee again - can’t the girl make up her mind?

After show parties seem to be the danger for this girl - as the most recent tryst with Lee happened at The Brits after-party, and now they are head over heels in love again.

But whatever happened to poor old Kian? He romanced Liz with red roses and champagne on Valentines Day, only for Liz to dump him a few days later. That’s got to hurt. Liz went on to say ’It was only after seeing Kian for a while I realised how much I missed being with Lee’. Classy.

Atomic Kitten star Liz and Westlife’s Kian have been ’friends for years’ but they finally got together a few weeks ago.

Love bloomed at London nightclub Click after a friendship that started four years ago developed into romance. Liz has said "Kian is really lovely. It’s early days and we are both really happy. Let’s just wait and see what happens!’ where as Kian said that he ’hasn’t planned anything for Valentines Day yet - I will though!’

Well hurry up mate if you are going to do anything - only a few days to go you know!
