Original "It" girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has literally revealed all on her own recently launched website.

With spending sprees that could almost rival Elton John, Tara admits on her site that she has spent £9000 in just 30 minutes on designer clothes and revealed that even her knickers used to cost her £250 a time.

In her Confession Corner - part of www.tarapt.com - the self-confessed compulsive spender says that she is now more likely to be spotted in Topshop rather than an exclusive Gucci boutique.

The svelte 29-year-old has section called Tara’s Private Photobooth and web users will be able to see the sexy brunette in various poses including a picture of her lying on a bed in just a pair of white tarapt.com knickers.

Tara, who used to have her own column in the Sunday Times, will be compiling her own weekly gossip column with a rundown on where she’s been, who she’s met, what they are up to and who with.

And the professional socialite who will be 30 in December, revealed that she will be entering the hotel business as an adviser for the new plush Sydney Hotel in Chelsea, due to open in a few months.

The site also has an agony aunt style "Dear, Tara" page with advice on dating and how to snare the right man. Tara, who is an accomplished pianist, also talks about her childhood and reveals that as a teenager she only had two ambitions - to ride in the Grand National and appear on the Muppet Show.

Biography

Born on December 23 1971, Tara Palmer Tomkinson is the daughter of Prince Charles’ closest friend Charles Palmer Tomkinson, an olympic skier.  During the 1990s Tara ained prominence as a girl about town and was given a weekly newspaper column however, during a TV interview with Frank Skinner in 1999 she shocked viewers by appearing incoherent and dishevelled.  Forty eight hours later she checked in to an Arizona rehab clinic to undergo treatment for cocaine addiction.

Tara made a comeback with an appearance on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!  She won the nation’s hearts with her ditzy upper class ways and was soon a regular on our screens.  She was given a behind the scenes show for the next series of I’m A Celeb, which she continues to present in her own inimitable style.

Although a classically trained concert pianist Tara is undoubtedly better known for her high profile relationships with the likes of Robbie Williams and Duncan James.  She has also been linked to posh popstar James Blunt.

In 2006 Tara hit the headlines again - her nose had collapsed in response to her years of cocaine abuse.  However, Tara underwent surgery to correct the problem and has since been working on a pop career.  Rumour has it that she has been working closely with Louis Walsh to change her tabloid image and top the charts.
