"It’s time to unload," said Sharon, who celebrates her 55th birthday on Wednesday.

"We just have an over-abundance of possessions that we do not need."

With their three children now grown and out of the house, the couple have changed their style and moved to a new home, she said, adding that parting with hundreds of items has been "one of the most refreshing things I’ve done".

Ozzy, however, does not share her enthusiasm.

"I don’t know why we are selling everything as I want it all," Osbourne said in a statement. He will perform a benefit concert at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on the first night of the sale.

Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she wants to follow in Brangelina’s footsteps and adopt - but Angelina Jolie may not be too pleased when she finds out who Sharon has in mind.

"I would adopt him (Brad) any day," she told OK! at the Elton John AIDS Foundation benefit.

"Forget the babies, I’ll have him. I’m such a dirty old cow!"

We’re not sure what her husband, Black Sabbath’s Ozzy, would make of her revelation, seeing that they have been married for 25 years.

They are reported to have one of the strongest celebrity relationships around, having supported each other through her battles with cancer and bulimia, and Ozzy’s struggles with alcohol and drug addiction, and his quad accident.

But if her wish comes true, Sharon is only 11 years older than Brad, who is 43. And if Demi Moore and husband Ashton Kutcher can make it work with an 18-year age difference, then so can this Hollywood fantasy couple.

They could be collectively known as Shad or Braron - or even Spitt.

Sharon Osbourne has reportedly dashed back to LA - to see her sick dog.

The X Factor judge was in the UK watching her daughter Kelly take the role of Mama Morton in Chicago in the West End, but apparently jetted back as soon as she could after hearing her favourite pet Minnie was ill.

A source told The Sun: "Minnie is Sharon’s favourite out of all her dogs. She was by Sharon’s side constantly as she battled cancer.

"She had to go home to see her."

The mum-of-three was apparently seen weeping after seeing Kelly’s first night on stage - but it seems her tears might have been for Minnie.

"Sharon was filming in LA last week and was choosing her finalists for the X Factor," the source added.

"She finished on Saturday and jumped straight on the plane to be with Kelly.

"But she heard the news about Minnie at the theatre and was distraught. She was sobbing and her husband Ozzy was comforting her."


Sharon ’too upset’ for funeral - July 26 2007
Sharon Osbourne was apparently "too traumatised" to attend her music mogul father’s funeral.

Don Arden died in a nursing home in Los Angeles and Sharon brought his body back to London, but was said to be too upset to attend the ceremony at a Jewish cemetery in Manchester, reports the Daily Mirror.

A family friend at the funeral was reported as saying: "As you can imagine Sharon is very upset about her father’s death and was simply too traumatised to attend the funeral."

Don, who died at the age of 81, had overseen the careers of acts like the Small Faces, the Electric Light Orchestra and Black Sabbath, fronted by Ozzy Osbourne.

He was renowned for his violent temper and estranged from X Factor judge Sharon for 20 years, after they fought to manage her husband Ozzy.
