Peaches picks Fred for Glasto - June 22 2007
Peaches Geldof has picked her man for Glastonbury and it seems Donny Tourette is going to be disappointed.
The 18-year-old, who will be presenting video diaries from the festival for Orange, told the Daily Mirror she’s going to be supporting DJ Fred Les.
"I’m definitely with Fred. We’re going to have to get walkie-talkies to keep in touch," she said.
And it seems she’s not at all worried about upsetting some-time love Donny.
"I’m not bothered if he’s going or not," she said.
While Bob Geldof’s DJ daughter might be prepared to make Glastonbury diaries, she dismissed rumours of a fly-on-the wall style documentary.
"There’s no way I’d ever do a reality TV show. It’s the lowest form of TV - it is selling yourself," she said.
Donny, meanwhile, famously walked out of the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year after refusing to wait on Jade Goody and her family.
Peach-tinted view of Glasto - June 21 2007
Peaches Geldof will be filming video diaries from Glastonbury this weekend.
Bob’s socialite daughter will be exploring the Somerset festival’s different areas with her Orange phone and the results will be available to view online.
The 18-year-old will be roaming the stages and VIP sections, watching bands and chatting to her high-profile friends, with her video diary from the last 24 hours posted on the Orange Glastonbury website every day.
Peaches said: "I was really excited when I was asked to do this. Glastonbury is my favourite weekend of the year.
"I want to be able to show people that I’m there as a music fan and DJ. Of course, I’ll be having a great time with friends when I’m there so I want to capture as much of that as possible."
Hattie Evans, Head of Sponsorship at Orange, said: "We are delighted to be working with Peaches.
"Her enthusiasm for music really comes across when you speak to her, we’re hoping that her passion for live music comes across in her video diaries."
Peaches’ video antics at Glastonbury can be seen from Friday June 22 on www.orange.co.uk/glastonbury.
Peaches cancels gig for exam? - June 13 2007
Peaches Geldof apparently had to pull out of DJ-ing for Pamela Anderson’s ex Tommy Lee at a London club last night because she had an A-level exam.
The 18-year-old party girl was due to DJ at posh nightclub Chinawhite for the rocker before she cancelled at the last minute, the Daily Telegraph reports.
A source said: "Peaches was booked in to DJ at a party held by Tommy Lee. But hours before, she pulled out, saying she had suddenly remembered that she had an A-level in the morning."
Her anti-poverty campaigner dad Bob recently defended his daughters saying "they don’t go clubbing" and stressing Peaches’ work for broadsheets and on documentaries.
But the source added that Bob might have been behind the sudden cancellation: "It looks like her dad’s cracking the whip and making sure she put her studies first."
Looks like Peaches may need to put her partying on hold until school’s out.

Despite her young age she’s already a fully fledged media darling. She writes for The Daily Telegraph (on such subjects as not getting let into films and her embarrassing web-blog) and ELLEgirl magazine. She has also appeared in two documentaries, including ’Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind’, filmed over a half-term holiday by her fathers production company. In 2006 Tatler magazine placed her at number seven in their list of Top Ten Fashion Icons.
She is known for being somewhat precocious, an image encouraged by her outspoken views. She decries the ignorance of her peers, described foxes as ’vermin’ at the height of the hunting controversy, supports Tony Blair (’It’s hard to run a country’, apparently) and George W Bush, and has expressed her support of the war in Iraq. After seeing Farenheight 9/11, she said she was ’disgusted’, and described Michael Moore as a playground bully. Kids these days, eh?
She lives in Chelsea with the family, and is studying for her A-Levels. She has expressed interest in going on to study English and Journalism at university. Past boyfriends have included 21-year-old Llewelyn Graves, the grandson of the poet Robert Graves and Alex Bradley, singer in London band Trafalgar. She has also been linked to comedians Russell Brand and Noel Fielding as well as Pete Doherty.
