Lynne slams fellow celebrities - Nov 24 2007
Lynne Franks has become the latest I’m a Celebrity contestant to be thrown out of the Australian jungle.
The public decided that the PR guru should go ahead of former Catatonia singer, Cerys Matthews.
On her release, Lynne launched into a tirade against fellow celebrities Janice Dickinson and Rodney Marsh.
She branded the former model "two faced" and said she would "be fine" if she never saw her again.
She then called the former footballer "a nasty piece of work" and accused him of being "ungracious".
Lynne survived just 13 days in the jungle, which included being pecked by ostriches.
On her exit she said of the group: "I love those guys and had such a fantastic time but I was so ready to go.
"I had a wonderful day yesterday and I am going out on a high.
"It’s time to get clean, you know clean hair, clean fingernails, clean underwear and have a bath."
She was close to tears when watching the highlights of her time in the jungle and said she hoped that Gemma Atkinson or "J" Brown would win.
Sparks fly in the jungle - Nov 13 2007
They’ve only been in the jungle one day and already the sparks are flying between the "alpha females" on I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
Model Janice Dickinson, 52, and PR guru Lynne Franks, 59, have been at each other’s throats in their camp as arguments erupted over what to cook.
On their first night in the Australian rainforest, the pair rowed non-stop with Janice calling Lynne a "freak" and a "shrew", and even jokingly threatening to stab her fellow contestant.
The row started after Lynne suggested they save some of their meal for the next evening.
Janice barked: "I don’t mind you suggesting things Lynne, but can I have an opinion over here about what I stick in my gob?"
Later, as the pair were cooking, the PR guru had a go at the self-proclaimed "world’s first supermodel" for the way she put the vegetables into the pot.
She said: "I don’t think I have ever seen cooking like that. I don’t think that’s the way to do it, but do what you want."
The model told Lynne to "knock off the remarks," adding: "I’m not saying anything derogatory towards you, I’m trying to help."
Lynne admitted: "You’re aggressive, you’re bossy, all the same things I am and then it’s just like too much."
Janice then joked to Jason Brown: "I’m going to stab her in the middle of the night... You don’t think I’m kidding, I’ll eat her t**s. I’ll fry up those big old boobs."

Having left school at 16 Franks sat down at her kitchen table at the tender age of 21 and started her own fledgling PR company, which has now grown to be one of the best-known agencies in the world. In 1992 she sold her PR firm to focus on using her communication skills to encourage partnership between business and society, leaving London to travel the world with her event ’What Women Want’ and working with multinational corporations, bureaucrats and grassroots organizations to draw attention to the changing position of women in society.
She is currently developing SEED: the Sustainable Enterprise Empowerment Dynamics, a network aimed at training and empowering women in sustainable enterprise and community leadership.
Franks, who has two children, divides her time between London and Oxford.
She divorced from her husband Henry in 2003.
