Her debut album, Speak, was released in 2004 with the single Rumours earning critical acclaim. 2005’s A Little More Personal included a dramatically intimate track aimed at her father who had spent much of Lindsay’s life in prison. She is currently working on a third album.
Since 2003 Lindsay has been regular tabloid fodder beginning with a rumoured feud with fellow teen actress Hilary Duff. Her weight has been a serious issue, with the actress admitting that she had ’nearly died’, before dedicating herself to getting her shape back. She has also gained the reputation of girl about town, partying hard with the likes of Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton whilst dealing with a run of bad luck which has included three car crashes and some rumoured illnesses.
