"He’s been an established player for several years with films like The Talented Mr Ripley and Cold Mountain but never quite made it to the top of the A list."
Jude, who is currently filming Sleuth with Michael Caine, apparently told friends Sienna is fixated on hitting it big in Hollywood.
"He was apparently miffed that Sienna approached his friend and former co-star Cameron Diaz at the Golden Globe awards and tried to rekindle a friendship with her," added the source.
Jude’s money woes - Jan 5 2007
He may be a Hollywood film star, but it seems Jude Law has the same money worries as the rest of us.
The heart-throb actor - currently in cinemas alongside Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz in The Holiday - has confessed he couldn’t afford to quit Tinseltown even if he wanted to.
"It seems we’re all firstly professionals and secondly human beings. Could I walk away from fame? No, I couldn’t afford it," the 34-year-old is quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying.
"I’m divorced and I haven’t got any money."
Jude has previously has told the media that his divorce from actress-turned-designer Sadie Frost left him with a less than healthy bank balance.
Sadie, with whom Jude has three kids - Rafferty, nine, Iris, five, and three-year-old Rudy - reportedly won the couple’s plush £2 million London home after they split in 2003.
She also netted a reputed £4 million payment and £15,000 a month, according to The Sun.
Jude’s pricy divorce - Dec 11 2006
Jude Law may live the life of a Hollywood megastar, but it seems he doesn’t have the bank balance of one.
The handsome actor has confessed his divorce from actress-turned-designer Sadie Frost left him broke.
The 33-year-old said he "lost everything" after splitting from the brunette in 2003.
Sadie, who Jude had three kids with, Rafferty, nine, Iris, five, and three-year-old Rudy, won the couple’s plush £2 million London home.
She also netted a reputed £4 million payment and £15,000 a month, according to The Sun.
"I lost everything in order to get the right to visit my children. My bank account is therefore almost always empty," Jude told a French magazine.
He added: "I’m not Brad Pitt. I don’t earn 20 million dollars a film."
But the star insisted he didn’t have "a single regret".
Let’s hope Jude’s latest flick, The Holiday, will help boost his bank balance.
The actor co-stars with Hollywood beauties Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet in the film, about an American girl and a British girl who find love when they swap homes.
Jude’s African Christmas - Nov 30 2006
It seems Jude Law and his ex-wife Sadie Frost will be playing happy families this Christmas - they are apparently spending the festive season in Africa with their children.
The couple and their offspring - Rafferty, Iris and Rudy, and Sadie’s son Finlay by Gary Kemp - visited the Tanzanian animal reserve together at the beginning of this year and loved it so much they want to go back.
The Alfie star told the Daily Express: "We spent a couple of nights with a Masai tribe who sacrificed a goat for us and invited us to eat it with them.

Jude’s early stage roles included that of Foxtrot Darling in The Fastest Clock In The Universe and Michael in Indiscrections (he would reprise this role on Broadway later in his career). Following a part in crappy soap opera Families, Jude was cast in cult Brit-flick Shopping, alongside Sadie Frost and took a part in the acclaimed Wilde. Moving to Hollywood proved, to begin with, a good choice for Law who garnered recognition in Gattaca, Road to Perdition and The Talented Mr Ripley, for which he was nominated for an Oscar (he was again nominated for Cold Mountain).
However, Law’s reign of the box office was not to last. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow was a major miss while the remake of Alfie was one of 2004’s worst films. Jude is currently working on Sleuth and Mr Blueberry Nights. There are also rumours that he will appear in the next Superman movie.
Jude’s personal life has taken as many twists and turns as his professional one. From his turbulent marriage to fellow Natural Nylon owner Sadie Frost, which culminated in rumours of wife swapping and affairs to his on/off engagement to young actress Sienna Miller who called time on their relationship after finding out that Jude had been shagging the nanny Jude has become a legendary cad. He has two sons, Rafferty and Rudy and a daughter, Iris with Sadie plus a receding hairline which bears much resemblance to that of Phil Collins’. Just think of that next time you’re having a ’Dave fantasy’ ladies...
