Hollywood star Jessica Alba is pregnant, her spokesman revealed today.

The 26-year-old actress and her boyfriend Cash Warren are expecting a child next year.

Jessica has been dating 28-year-old Cash since autumn 2004 when they met on the set of The Fantastic Four, where he was a director’s assistant.

Jessica’s spokesman, Brad Cafarelli, told showbiz website People.com: "I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer."

The Awake actress, often mentioned in lists of the world’s sexiest women, will also star in forthcoming films The Eye and The Love Guru.

Jessica rose to fame after her role in TV show Dark Angel, before going on to feature in a host of Hollywood flicks including Honey, Sin City and Into The Blue.

Away from the big screen, Jessica was FHM’s Sexiest Woman In The World in 2007.

Alba rose to prominence following the television series Dark Angel, then expanding her resume to film, predominantly within the confines of action and comedy.

Alba appears frequently on the "Hot 100" section of Maxim, and was voted AskMen.com’s No. 1 on their list of "99 Most Desirable Women" in 2006, as well as "Sexiest Woman in the World" in FHM in 2007.
