The model and former Wag will play a landlady opposite Jennifer’s prostitute character in comedy The Be All And End All, reports the Daily Star.

She said: "I’m so excited about it. We start filming in a few months. And I absolutely love Jen.

"We’re old friends, so I can’t wait to work with her."

The feature will also apparently star Liza Tarbuck and John Thomson.

Danielle confessed that she’s hoping to pick up some tips from her Liverpudlian pal - so she can try and crack the US film industry.

She said: "I really want to crack Hollywood. Jen’s done so well. So hopefully all of them will be able to give me some tips to help me make it in the acting world. It’s good that I’m playing a Scouser in my first acting role, because I’ll need some elocution lessons before I can play anything else, which might limit me for a bit.

"But it’s cause for celebration."


Jennifer: I’m devastated - April 11 2007
Jennifer Ellison is apparently "devastated" that she’s been forced to pull out of a coveted stage role after damaging her knee.

The former Brookside actress was due to play Roxie Hart in Chicago in Stoke-on-Trent but injured herself during a dance class last week, reports the Daily Mirror.

After doctors confirmed the 23-year-old had dislocated her knee and suffered some ligament damage, she was forced to pull out of the show.

"I’m devastated. I was so looking forward to it," said Jennifer, who is now having therapy on her injured joint.

It wouldn’t have been her first stint in Chicago. She played the leading role of Roxie on the West End stage last summer.

Since leaving Brookside, the actress has also turned her hand to reality TV shows such as Hell’s Kitchen and The Verdict, as well as dabbled in music, reaching No 6 with her single Baby I Don’t Care reached in 2003.

Jen’s pole dancing mishap - June 05
Ex Brookside beauty Jennifer Ellison has broken her collar bone in a slightly bizarre pole dancing accident. Apparently Jen had been dining at The Ivy with friends, and ended up in a hotel room via Stringfellows. She decided to show her friends how she could pole dance, but fell mid routine and started screaming in pain. Doctors confirmed a broken collar bone which will leave Jen out of action for the next six weeks.
