Ange wants to sit down with Jen - Dec 13 2006
They’re unlikely ever to become best friends, but Angelina Jolie has said she would like to sit down face-to-face with Jennifer Aniston.
But the meeting would only come about if the Friends actress would agree.
Ang added that she has met Jen briefly but it was not a "proper meeting".
"We’ve, like, passed each other and said ’Hi’ briefly, shook hands," she said.
"But not a real sit-down-and-talk kind of meeting. That would be her decision, and I would welcome it."
And the 31-year-old added that when she met Brad, she didn’t think he was looking for another relationship.
"It was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects," the actress said.
She added: "Brad was a huge surprise to me... I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship.
"I certainly wasn’t. I was quite content to be a single mom."
Jen and Vince ’splitting up’ - Dec 6 2006
Representatives for Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have confirmed the couple have called it quits, People magazine reported on its website.
"Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship, but continue to be good friends today," said representatives Stephen Huvane and John Pisani, according to People.com.
The reps said the former big screen co-stars decided to end their romance after Jen visited Vince in London in October.
Aniston, 37, and Vaughn, 36, spent much of the last year and a half battling rumours about their relationship -- first that it was starting, then that it was headed towards marriage, and most recently that it was fizzling out.
The actors met while filming The Break-Up in 2005. Reports of a romance quickly swirled, but the two initially said they were simply friends.
They were spotted together in various places over the ensuing months but said little about their liaison. Still, by this summer, they were denying whispers of an engagement.
Within months, they were denying that they were breaking up. In October, Vince threatened to sue British and American tabloid newspapers that had reported that he was breaking it off with Jen and had been seen kissing someone else.
Jen & Vince still together - Oct 13 2006Jennifer Aniston has told Oprah Winfrey she has not broken up with Vince Vaughn, despite rumours to the contrary.
American tabloids have been filled with stories recently that the apparently loved-up couple had gone their separate ways, but Jen says that is simply not true.
The show is yet to go out, but audience members tell People magazine that the 37-year-old star made it clear that she and Vince, 36, are still together and are not engaged.
She also responded to the question of whether she had had breast implants, saying she hadn’t, but that if she ever puts on weight, it goes to her chest.
The actress also showed and talked about a new short film that she had directed as part of Glamour magazine’s Reel Moments series.
Entitled Room 10, it’s about a nurse who is caring for a terminal patient and gains a whole new perspective on her own marriage as a result.

Recognised as a talented comedy actress, she began working on the Howard Stern Radio Show in the 80’s and 90’s, before moving to Hollywood and launching a career in television. There were several false starts as shows were cancelled, and her appearance in the horror movie ’Leprechaun’ attracted so much critical derision that she seriously considered giving up acting.
Cue Friends, for which she auditioned in 1994. The producers originally wanted her to audition for the role of Monica Geller, but she managed to persuade them that her talents would be far better used in the role of Rachel Green. She ended up playing the character for ten years, between 1994 and 2004. So successful was the show and so well loved was her character that during the final three seasons she commanded a fee of one million dollars per episode. The critics, once cruel, were now united in praise, and she was nominated five times for an Emmy award including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Since then she has been in several major Hollywood features, although she has not yet made a hit film.
Aniston’s acting talents rest upon an "everygirl" persona. This perhaps explains why the media has always taken an interest in her personal life. She previously dated Adam Duritz and actor Tate Donovan before beginning a long-term relationship with Brad Pitt. They were married in 2000. The pair divorced in spectacular fashion in 2005, with many in the press suspecting infidelity on Pitt’s part and Aniston’s refusal to have children as causes (She has since strongly denied that she doesn’t want children). She has remained tight lipped about her personal life ever since.
