When quizzed about her first meeting with Vince, Jennifer, 37, said: "For me, it was just wow. You get those moments pretty rarely. "You can kind of tell pretty quickly with someone, ’Oh, this is going to be easy. Oh, this is going to be a tough one’. "He is the cream of the crop."

Vince also admitted he was attracted to the former ’Friends’ star the first time he met her - and says he was bowled over by her terrific sense of humour. He is quoted by Grazia magazine as saying: "Yes, I did like her right off the bat as a person. I think she’s terrific. "Friendship is the biggest thing, and a sense of humour; I like someone who can make me laugh. "When you’re younger, you have your priorities in a different place, but as you get older, I think having someone who makes you laugh and who you have a friendship and a trust with becomes important."

The couple are rumoured to be setting up home together in Chicago, where they have just made a joint offer on a property. Jennifer confirmed: "It really is my kind of town. I just had a ball there. "There’s something about the people, they’re kind and respectful."

He thinks and he listens." She added: "You don’t always get that sort of fun with someone and feel like you’re on an equal playing field."

Jennifer also revealed she was shocked when she was asked to star in ’The Break Up’ - a movie about the end of a long-running relationship - when she was in the process of splitting from husband Brad Pitt, who is now romancing Angelina Jolie. She said: "I thought it was a joke. I thought, ’You have got to be kidding me’. "But making it was definitely therapeutic."
