Javine 'hits back' at Alesha - Oct 30 2007
Javine Hylton has apparently had a pop at Alesha Dixon - after the former Mis-Teeq songstress claimed her husband Harvey never wanted to end their marriage and leave her for the singer.
The 25-year-old hit the headlines last November after it was revealed that she was having an affair with the So Solid crew star. They now live together and Javine is expecting his baby.
"He could have just stayed with her, easily," she told Star magazine. "I never once asked Harvey to leave her. I never said, 'Let's be together'.
"People can believe what they want. I know what's true. That's all I will say."
She continued: "It was a very difficult time for all three of us and she (Alesha) is obviously very hurt and is still going to be hurt by the situation.
"She thought she was going to be with him for the rest of her life. She obviously hated me because I was the the woman who took her man away from her.
"At the end of this, she can say all she wants. I've said my piece and I've moved on with my life."
Javine Pregnant - Aug 14 2007
Javine Hylton is expecting a baby with love cheat boyfriend MC Harvey.
The pair, who had an affair behind Harvey’s wife Alesha Dixon’s back while they co-starred in the West End musical Daddy Cool, confirmed the news in Hello! magazine.
Former Mis-Teeq singer turned solo artist Alesha was devastated when she discovered Harvey had been unfaithful last year, and even put her wedding dress up for sale on eBay.
Ex-So Solid Crew star Harvey, 28, told Hello!: "I know she’s (Alesha’s) been told. I’m sure she’ll move on and have kids with someone who will make her very happy, but I don’t know how she’s taken it. No doubt people will say this is yet another blow to Alesha, but it’s been a year now. You have to move on."
He added: "I believe that Javine and me were meant to meet and have children. Our destiny was mapped out."
Former Eurovision contestant Javine, 25, who was a Girls Aloud runner-up on Popstars: The Rivals, said: "At first it was hard being accused of being ’the other woman’ but I’m so over it now. People can call me any name they like and I really don’t care anymore."
Javine crowned rear of the year - Sept 14, 2020
Pop babe Javine Hylton was crowned Rear of the Year today -sharing the title with former England footballer Ian Wright. The curvy 24-year-old showed off her award-winning behind at a ceremony at the Carlton Tower Hotel in London, and said she stays in shape by pole dancing.
"I’m flattered to be voted Rear of the Year. I’ve been pole dancing loads in the new stage production Daddy Cool, so it’s definitely paid off for me," she said.
The singer shot to fame four years ago on the reality TV show Popstars: The Rivals. After narrowly missing out on a place in pop group Girls Aloud she went on to establish a solo career with chart hits including Surrender (Your Love), Don’t Walk Away and Real Things.

A role in the stage version of The Lion King followed, in which Javine spent two years, honing her skills in singing and dancing by night whilst studying in the daytime. This was when opportunity came knocking - a local audition for Popstars, The Rivals - she was hugely popular with audiences and made it in to the final six, narrowly missing out on a place in Girls Aloud.
Luckily Javine’s talents had been noted and she was offered a record deal with Innocent, sharing a label with Blue and Atomic Kitten. Her debut single Real Things reached number four in the charts and gained massive radio play. However, Javine’s releases have been largely ignored and despite much press attention surrounding her Eurovision attempt she remains very much out of the spotlight. She has now moved in to musical theatre, appearing in Daddy Cool.
