Sexist Hollywood rant - August 05
The Oscar-winning actress has slammed Hollywood for being an industry run by chauvinistic men who neglect female sexuality. She says "There’s no reason why, if there’s Wedding Crashers for boys, there can’t be something really funny yet intelligent for women, that has something to say for women."
Meanwhile, husband Chris Martin reckons that being married to Gwyneth has made his Hollywood idols seem boring and ordinary. Ever considered that might just been Gwyneth, Chris?

Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin are living in fear after burglars attempted to break into their London home. The thieves tried to forcibly enter the star couple’s London home, which they share with baby daughter Apple, but luckily were foiled by a top-of-the-range security system.
A source revealed: "Gwyneth and Chris had an attempted break-in but luckily their hi-tech security stopped the robbers." The incident in London’s trendy Belsize Park area has prompted some of Gwyneth and Chris’ star neighbours, which include Madonna and actress Helena Bonham-Carter, to start a Neighbourhood Watch scheme. British TV presenter Chris Evans has called for all residents to keep an eye on other’s properties and report anything suspicious to foil any potential burglars.

Perhaps she was upset about her relationship.or perhaps they just didn’t have the top that she really wanted.
Gwyneth Paltrow goes back on career promise. - Mar 05
She offended working mums the world over when she said that going back to work after having a child was wrong and now it seems that Gwyneth Paltrow is eating her words. Just eight months after giving birth to baby Apple the Hollywood star has agreed to star in TriStar’s Running With Scissors alongside Annette Bening. Just goes to show that even Hollywood supermums can’t cope with a screaming baby 24/7.

The Paltrows moved to Manhattan, New York when Gwyneth was 11 years old, where she would watch her Tony award-winning mother perform at theatre festivals, inspiring the young Gwyneth to become an actress herself, an ambition which resulted in a starring role in a production of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
Gwyneth returned to Los Angeles in order to attend the University of California in Santa Barbara as an art history major. While her first film role was in the 1991 film Shout, with John Travolta, her big break came along when she went out one night with her father and family friends Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.
Big league director Spielberg was in the process of casting for his film Hook and that night, he offered Gwyneth the role of Wendy, which she instantly accepted. After her role in Hook, also starring Robin Williams and Julia Roberts, she was cast as the lead in the 1992 mini-series Cruel Doubt.
The budding actress’ resume was soon filling up, with roles in Malice, Flesh and Bone, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Jefferson in Paris, and Moonlight and Valentino. Although audiences were beginning to take notice of Gwyneth, the film that threw her into the spotlight was her role as Brad Pitt’s girlfriend in the thriller Seven, which is where the highly photogenic couple met and fell in love. For a while anyway.
Following this she worked on films including The Pallbearer, Great Expectations, Sliding Doors and A Perfect Murder, although her star status was really confirmed when she accepted the Best Actress Oscar in (some say fake) floods of tears.
After a brief hiatus, Gwyneth returned to the big-screen in the beautifully shot The Talented Mr. Ripley, as Jude Law’s good-hearted girlfriend. And since has filmed Shallow Hal, Sylvia and View From The Top. Following a move to swanky Belgravia where she spends time drinking herbal tea, following a macrobiotic diet and doing Yoga with best mates Madonna and Stella McCartney, Gwynnie fell in love with Coldplay singer Chris Martin who she secretly married late in 2003 while preganant with his baby, which is due this summer.
