Gwen is spending a fortune on baby clothes - Jan 31, 2021
Gwen Stefani is spending a fortune on baby clothes for her unborn child. The former ’No Doubt’ singer reportedly forked out £13,000 in a single shopping trip to trendy London boutique, Elias & Grace, last week. An onlooker told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was an incredible haul of gear. Gwen loved the Petit Bateau kids clothes. "She took pretty much the whole range in various ages. But she gave nothing away when it came to the baby’s sex because she got everything in neutral colours."

The 36-year-old beauty, who is married to British rocker Gavin Rossdale, is also thinking of launching her own range of maternity wear. Gwen is due to give birth in June. It will be the couple’s first child together

Gwen Stefani wants to add baby outfits to her designer clothing line - Jan 9, 2021
The sexy star - who is expecting her first baby with husband Gavin Rossdale - doesn’t think there are enough stylish outfits for newborns and wants to create her own.

The singer, who owns the Lamb Clothing fashion label, is quoted in the News of the World newspaper as saying: "Babies have nothing to wear, so I am in the perfect position to rectify that." Gwen revealed she was pregnant with her first baby last month - by announcing it on stage during a performance in Florida. The blonde beauty - who has made no secret of wanting to start a family - encouraged the thrilled crowd to sing along with her so her unborn baby would hear the music, and shouted: "I want you to say it loud enough so the baby hears it."

A camera then cut to an audience member waving a colourful poster that read: "Congrats on Baby." At the end of the dazzling show, the pop babe stroked her stomach contentedly as she left the stage.

Gwen Stefani is pregnant - Dec 21, 2020
Gwen Stefani is pregnant with her first baby. The sexy singer - who tied the knot with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale three years ago - is set to give birth in June next year. Rossdale’s dad Douglas told America’s Us Weekly magazine: "We are delighted." The pop babe’s mum, Patti, also reportedly confirmed the pregnancy to the magazine. Gwen has made no secret of wanting to start a family with Rossdale, who recently discovered he had fathered a love child with British singer Pearl Lowe, who he dated in the 1980s.

Earlier this year Gwen confessed she was dreaming about having children and was prepared to wait as long as it took to get pregnant. She said at the time: "It hasn’t happened and that’s something that isn’t in my control. "I’d like it to happen, of course I would, but I have an amazing husband and the most fulfilling, creative career I ever dreamed of, so I’m not complaining." Rossdale also appeared to be desperate for another child when he promised Gwen he would take their future baby on tour to give her a break. He said: "I told Gwen if she has a baby, I’ll take the child on tour with me to give her a break".

Biography

Born on October 3 1969 in Orange County, California, Gwen Stefani grew up listening to the Ska and Punk music which was so popular in the So Cal area at the time. It was older brother Eric that really turned Gwen’s musical dreams in to reality, asking her to join a band he had started with friend John Spence, with whom she would share lead vocals. They called themselves No Doubt and invited Tony Kanal to join.

However, in 1987 Spence committed suicide and Gwen was left to take over as the band’s only vocalist, a role which she juggled with college studies and a romance with Kanal. No Doubt gained a solid following in the local area and when Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Flea recorded a demo for the band it was only a matter of time before they signed a deal.

Although their eponymous debut album and the follow up, The Beacon Street Collection, were seen as something of a failure by their record company, No Doubt’s third try, Tragic Kingdom (recorded without Eric, who had left to become an animator on The Simpsons), became a hit thanks mostly to stand out single Don’t Speak It was at this time that the rest of the band were pushed to the sidelines as the press and public focused increasingly on Gwen who, having split with Tony, was romantically linked with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale.

Two more albums followed the success of Tragic Kingdom – Return of Saturn and Rock Steady – but it was Gwen the world was interested in as she dueted with rapper Eve, featured on Moby’s Southside and married Gavin in a 2002 ceremony in London. While No Doubt took a break Gwen hooked up with writer Linda Perry and a house-full of collaborators for her debut solo album Love Angel Music Baby, which sold millions on the strength of the fantastic What You Waiting For?

While Gwen’s professional life was on the up – she launched L.A.M.B, her own clothing range and appeared in Martin Scorcese’s The Aviator as silver screen icon Jean Harlow – her personal life seemed to be taking a turn for the worse when it was revealed that her husband had a secret lovechild with tabloid favourite Pearl Lowe (she of the Sadie/Jude wife swapping revelations). However Gwen has vowed to stand by her man and is even talking of starting a family of her own…we just hope parenthood doesn’t stop her wearing those fantastic fairytale outfits in public.
