Surprise, surprise Geri Halliwell is back in the news again (excellent PR) This time she is being critised for employing a nurse to inject her with vitamin jabs, this is so she can combat tiredness. Claire MacEvilly of the British Nutrition Foundation claims: "Vitamin injections are an extreme and dangerous fad which has come from the US." If you took too much it could actually kill. What I want to know is what is wrong with the good old fashion way of taking vitamin pills with water.

Or it might be spiritual." Elsewhere in the interview, she said she often flirts in Internet chatrooms. She continued: "It’s safe sex isn’t it? Geri Halliwell’s Shih-tzu made his famous owner blush with embarrassment. Geri was out shopping in Joseph, Chelsea when her pooch Harry squatted behind a rail of leather jackets - and left stinking package for the other shoppers. As shoppers fled holding their noses, horrified Geri gasped: "I’m so sorry, this is so embarrassing. I take my Harry everywhere and he’s never done this before." Shop assistants moved in swiftly to clear up the mess with sheets of tissue paper and Geri gave Harry a stern telling-off. Biography

Born Geraldine Estelle Halliwell on 6th August 1972 in Watford, London, Geri Halliwell is best known as Ginger Spice but in fact started her career long before she joined the Spice Girls - working as a topless prize girl on Turkish TV.

In the 1990s Geri became one fifth of the worlds biggest girl band and has never looked back. Along with Mel B, Emma, Mel C and Victoria, she scored some of the biggest hits of the decade, made a feature film and raked in the cash through sponsorship deals. But in May ’98 Geri made the shock announcement that she was to leave the band to persue a solo career.

She sold her Spice clothes to raise more than $200,000 for a cancer charity, journeyed to Uganda for Comic Relief, was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador by the United Nations, and even got to sing "Happy Birthday" to the future king of England, Prince Charles.

Nearly a year after her departure from the Spice Girls, Halliwell released her debut solo album, Schizophonic, whose sound is a self-described cross between "Julie Andrews and Johnny Rotten." The album, released on Capitol Records, contained Halliwell’s first single, "Look at Me." which went to number 2 in the charts. She followed up the success of Schizophonic with Scream If You Want To Go Faster in 2001. After going solo, Geri moved to LA, formed an unlikely close relationship with George Michael and told all to the press about her eating disorders after losing an incredible amount of weight and releasing two yoga videos.

Geri is now back in the UK, working on new material and a reality TV show which will follow the format of The Osbournes. She’s also back to her old busty ginger self!
