Faith Brown has become the third contestant to be booted off I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!

She lost in the public vote to Malandra Burrows.

In her post-eviction interview with presenters Ant and Dec on Saturday night, the comedienne said: "It was nice to be back out but I loved every minute."

She added: "It was good because I was like the mum doing the cooking and everything. It was a great experience, I wouldn’t miss it for the world. It was fantastic."

Faith said it was "hard going" having to cook for 10 or 12 people. However, she had "formed such an amazing bond" with the other contestants.

Earlier Dean Gaffney, Lauren Booth and Phina Oruche managed to win just six meals for dinner in the Bushtucker Trial. The trial involved bungee-jumping from a height of 100ft throwing paint bombs at targets on the ground below them.

Afterwards Lauren said she had blacked out and had to see the camp doctor saying the task "nearly frightened me to death".

Meanwhile Scott, expelled from the jungle by viewers on Friday night, continued his spat with Phina.

Speaking from his post-eviction hotel he said: "I think she is there as the jobbing actress. She was the least-known person on the entire programme.

"She wanted to be there to get her kit off. She wanted to be there to be known as the actress. She wanted to play the diva part. It’s just a shame she didn’t have the body or the face to live up to it, or the intelligence."

Born in Liverpool in 1944 Faith is an actress and comedienne probably best known for her part in Brookside. She has also appeared in Doctor Who and took a turn on stage in Sunset Boulevard. In addition Faith fronted her own chat show for a time.
