Emma Bunton
- Profession: Singer
- Place/Date of Birth: Finchley , 21 January 2021
The 30-year-old told The Daily Mirror: "At first I wanted everything to be knee-length. But with the Latin dance, the dresses need to be shorter, so we’ve cut a lot of the outfits up as we’ve gone on.
"I feel confident about my body now and I think guys like curvy girls. My boyfriend Jade likes my bottom."
The blonde, who was just 18 when she joined the famous girl group admitted she used to cry when she saw magazine pictures of herself in skimpy outfits.
Now, however, she is brimming with confidence.
"I’m a curvy girl," she added. "I’ve always been curvy and always will be.
"I’m not a huge gym fan. I go out with my girlfriends and we love our pizza and wine."
The vigorous workouts she has been doing preparing for the TV show have been great for her figure, she said.
"This has been the best exercise I’ve ever had. I don’t know if I’ve lost weight but I feel more toned.
"The paso doble is all about using your arms and the cha-cha is all about legs. So every dance has worked different bits of me - I’ve found muscles I never knew I had!"
Emma goes downtown for Pudsey - Oct 20 2006
Emma Bunton is releasing this year’s official Children in Need single.
The former Baby Spice is recording her own version of the Sixties classic Downtown, originally a hit for Petula Clarke.
Emma, 30, currently a favourite on BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing, said: "I am honoured and delighted to be asked to do this on behalf of Children in Need.
"I’ve always loved Downtown as a song and I’m really looking forward to putting my own stamp on it."
She added: "The track’s good fun and one everyone will know. The video should be a good laugh.
"I’ve asked all the Strictly guys to come along if they have time and show off all the hard work we’ve been doing and hopefully there will be a few other surprises in store too."
Emma will be performing the official song on the Children in Need night on November 17 on BBC1.
Last year, when Children in Need raised £33 million for charity, Liberty X released the official single A Night To Remember.
The new single is out on November 13 to buy or download.

The Virgin represented Girls, who owe their record label a Greatest Hits record, are reportedly set to release the album featuring a new track, entitled W.O.M.A.N, later in 2006. In addition the rumour mill is working over time with reports that Mel, Mel, Geri, Victoria and Emma are to perform this year’s Comic Relief single…looks like this winter is to finally see the return of Girl Power.
