If CZJ brings out her own perfume, she’d be the latest in a long line of celebrity scents including ones from Victoria and David Beckham, Jade Goody and Kylie Minogue.

A source told the paper: "She obviously wouldn’t be the first star to put her face to a beauty collection but she could be the most successful ever - most women would love to look as good as Catherine.

"She could even bring out a wrinkle cream her 62-year-old hubby might appreciate."

A spokesman for the actress did not comment on the matter.

Catherine is No 1 for women - Dec 12 2006
Welsh beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones is the star most women across the UK aspire to be like, new research has revealed.

The study by iVillage.co.uk showed 14% of females would like to look like the raven-haired Hollywood actress.

Angelina Jolie came second with 9%, Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham were next with 8%, WAG Coleen McLoughlin had 7% and actresses Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller and Gwyneth Paltrow tied with 6% of the vote.

Clare Spurrell, a beauty expert on the website, said: "It’s not surprising that most women aspire to look like Catherine Zeta-Jones.

"She oozes glamour wherever she goes, whether she’s on the red carpet or out shopping with the kids."

The survey also revealed that Welsh ladies are the most glamorous in the UK.

They are closely followed in the glamour stakes by women in Greater London, Scotland, the East Midlands, the North West and Northern Ireland.

And the least glamorous women are to be found in the South Coast, the South West, the South East, the North East, the West Midlands and the East respectively.

The study asked more than 3,500 women to reveal everything from the clothes they own, how often they go to the hairdressers and beauticians, to whether or not they would wear a tracksuit outside of the gym.

Zeta Jones pictures fight continues - Nov 18 2006
The epic court battle over the wedding pictures of Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas arrives at the House of Lords on Monday.

OK! magazine is appealing to the highest court in the land after three Court of Appeal judges ordered the magazine to pay back damages, costs and interest amounting to nearly £2 million to its rival, Hello!

The appeal judges had refused permission to take the case to the Law Lords but OK! and the Hollywood couple petitioned the House of Lords themselves and were successful.

OK! had a £1 million contract with the Douglases allowing the magazine’s exclusive coverage of their wedding in New York in November 2000.

Both OK! and the Hollywood couple took Hello! to court after it published the pictures it admitted were a "spoiler" aimed at limiting their rival’s exclusive coverage.

Zeta Jones told the 2003 High Court hearing she felt "devastated, shocked and appalled" when she realised unauthorised photographers had gatecrashed her high-security wedding at the Plaza Hotel.

Biography

Born on September 25 1969 in Swansea Catherine Zeta Jones, who grew up in Mumbles, was the daughter of a sweet factory owner.  She left school to persue an acting career without gaining any formal qualifications, going on to star in 42nd Street in London’s West End in 1987.  Soon after she appeared in her feature film debut, a French adaptation of 1001 Nights.  However it was on the small screen that Catherine made her name in the UK, stealing the show in an ITV version of H.E Bates’ The Darling Buds of May.

She went on to appear in numerous little noticed films and series’, including a made for TV film, Titanic, and comic book movie The Phantom, alongside Billy Zane.  It was around this time that she was picked to star with Antonio Banderas in The Mask of Zorro and Sean Connery in Entrapment.  These films would make Catherine in to the Hollywood star we know today.

In 2000 she starred in Stephen Soderburgh’s Traffic with her future husband Michael Douglas.  When they married later that year there was much critcism of the age difference (Douglas being 25 years her senior), however their marriage continues to go from strength to strength and they now have two children, Dylan (born in 2000) and Cerys (born in 2003).

Between babies and awards ceremonies CZJ has made a real name for herself as a leading lady in films such as The Terminal, Ocean’s Eleven and America’s Sweethearts.  She has also won an Oscar for her all-singing, all-dancing part in musical Chicago whilst also working as spokeswoman for Elizabeth Arden.
