After that, Federline will be allowed to visit the children at Spears’ home from noon to 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The stipulated agreement that the estranged couple signed on Thursday says Spears will use her "best efforts to ensure that no third party visiting the home" interferes with Federline’s time with the children.
The Superior Court document said Federline wants only Spears, her assistant, the children’s nanny and other household staff to be allowed in the home during his visits, but the couple had not reached agreement on that request.
Spears filed for divorce from Federline in November after two years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
The 28-year-old former backup dancer and aspiring rapper counter-filed, seeking financial support and custody of the children.
Britney’s ’spa’ break - Jan 3 2007
Partied-out Britney Spears has reportedly kicked off her New Year by checking into an exclusive spa.
But US reports have questioned whether she is actually seeking more serious treatment in light of her recent headline-grabbing behaviour.
Britters checked into Sanctuary, an Arizona spa, "for some R&R" on New Year’s Day, according to Life & Style magazine.
While she appears to be making good on her New Year’s resolution "just to take care of me more," the magazine claims that her well-documented bout of partying in recent weeks may have called for a different kind of break.
"With these celebrities, ’exhaustion’ sometimes means something else and a little rest at a spa sometimes actually translates into something a little more serious," a source told the magazine.
The singer’s rep, who insisted that the pop tart simply fell asleep in a La Vegas club on New Year’s Eve after quaffing champagne with fellow revellers, could not be reached for comment.
Britney gets thumbs-down - Dec 30 2006
Britney Spears has been voted the worst celebrity role model of the year.
Americans were asked in an AP-AOL News poll to name the villains and heroes of the year, and Brit beat out Paris Hilton for the ’worst’ honours in the showbiz world.
When asked to choose from a list of names, nearly three in 10 adults bestowed the honour of worst celebrity of the year on Britters.
The 25-year-old mum-of-two has been a regular on the party circuit since filing for divorce from wannabe rapper Kevin Federline, her husband of two years, earlier this year.
Second-worst celebrity billing went to socialite Paris Hilton, who took 18% of the vote.
Mel Gibson, 50, was third-worst celebrity with 12%, surely the result of his anti-Semitic tirade at police in Malibu, California, during his arrest on suspicion of drunken driving. He later apologised and said he harboured no animosity toward Jews.
Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey edged out Michael J Fox as the best celeb role model.
Actor George Clooney, who has been advocating for refugees in the war-ravaged Darfur region of Sudan, finished third with 12%.
The telephone poll of 1,004 adults was conducted between December 19 and 21 by Ipsos, an international polling firm.
Britney loses fans - Dec 28 2006
It’s been a tough year for Britney Spears and now it seems even her die-hard fans are deserting her.
The fan website WorldOfBritney.com, which was been charting the life and music of the songstress since 2000, has decided to close down. And not for budgetary reasons.
The webmaster Ruben Garay writes: "As Britney keeps losing her identity and credibility within fans and industry people, so is [this website]."

During the early years of her career Britney made millions thanks to merchandising deals and successful hits. But she faced controversy throughout with rumours of plastic surgery and feuds with other stars. Her third album, which saw her take a sexier and more adult turn, was a relative disappointment while her critically panned but box office friendly debut movie Crossroads was a fleeting highlight. Meanwhile her long relationship with Justin Timberlake came to an end in 2002 amid claims that her reputation as a virgin was false and in fact that she had cheated on the N*Sync star?Britney responded by sharing a kiss with idol Madonna on stage at the MTV Awards ? an act which saw the pair criticized more than admired.
The kiss signaled the end of Britney?s pop-childhood and with the release of In The Zone and the hit single Toxic she began building a new fanbase. A drunken Las Vegas wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander ended in annulment after just fifty five hours but, rather than concentrate on her career, Britney continued leaning on the lovelife self destruct button. She, despite advice to the contrary, married dancer, aspiring rapper and all round rat-faced bad boy Kevin Federline in a trailer trash wedding in 2004 and within months announced she was pregnant.
Having given birth to son, Sean Preston, Britney seems to have put her career on hold despite the success of a greatest hits album and the launch of her fragrance, Curious. Meanwhile rumours persist about the state of her marriage to Federline with the press accusing him of taking no interest in his wife and son and of cheating on the singing star.
