Britney’s fans called on for support - Mar 19 2007
Britney’s fans have had a call to action from the singer’s official website to send "thoughts and inspiration" to their troubled idol - and the messages are pouring in.
Proving that the former singer has retained her most loyal supporters, samples of the supportive messages are being posted on BritneySpears.com
"Relax and don’t rush yourself, we are here for as long as it takes for you to get better," wrote one British fan, signed Laura, from Kent, while others from as far afield as New Zealand and Spain posted messages including "Stand strong" and "We miss you Britney".
But, in a bid to avoid any negative comments appearing on the site - and possibly being read by the fragile pop princess - a confirmation disclaimer says that the website’s "team" will "review your message and consider it for posting" and "reserve the right to edit your comments."
So, don’t expect to see any choice words from ex-Britney pals Paris Hilton or Brandon Davis any time soon.
Britney bags new man? - Mar 16 2007
Britney Spears has apparently found love - at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
The 25-year-old mum-of-two is rumoured to have fallen for Jason Filyaw, 33, a guitarist in rock band Riva, according to celebrity website TMZ.com.
The troubled Toxic singer is currently being treated at the Promises clinic in Malibu after weeks of partying in the wake of her split with Kevin Federline.
The rocker told the site: "I love her, I support her 100% and we are close."
Brit is reportedly even planning to move in with him when she leaves rehab. The duo have been attending AA meetings together and Jason says he has been helping the star with the spiritually "deep" part of her recovery.
It seems the duo have known each other for a long time - Jason said they go "way back" to 2003 when he recorded some music with the singer at The Hit Factory in New York.
Isaac’s surprise at Brit’s rehab - Mar 13 2007
Isaac Cohen - Britney’s most recent proper boyfriend - has spoken out about the singer’s entry into rehab in Malibu.
"I was definitely surprised that she went into rehab," the male model tells People magazine. "I didn’t feel it had to come to that, but you know, if that’s what it takes and if that’s what she needs."
Isaac dated Brit for about a month earlier this year - the couple were spotted powerboating and frequently hit the coolest bars in Hollywood, like the Chateau Marmont.
After they split, apparently amicably, Isaac promptly sold his story to the News Of The World, including plenty of intimate details about the couple’s sex life.
Unsurprisingly the 25-year-old admits he hasn’t spoken to his ex since February.
But he believes: "It’s the best thing for her, her children - for everyone around her, actually. She’s a strong girl and I really feel she’ll be OK."
Britney’s rehab troubles - Ma 8 2007
There are fears that things aren’t going too well for Britney in rehab.
After a two-week stay, it seems that doctors at the Promises Residential Treatment Center in Malibu are concerned for her condition, according to Us Weekly.
A source told the magazine that the troubled 25-year-old "has been getting in tons of trouble" and has had to be reprimanded for using her mobile phone at the centre, and leaving rehab to go shopping.

During the early years of her career Britney made millions thanks to merchandising deals and successful hits. But she faced controversy throughout with rumours of plastic surgery and feuds with other stars. Her third album, which saw her take a sexier and more adult turn, was a relative disappointment while her critically panned but box office friendly debut movie Crossroads was a fleeting highlight. Meanwhile her long relationship with Justin Timberlake came to an end in 2002 amid claims that her reputation as a virgin was false and in fact that she had cheated on the N*Sync star?Britney responded by sharing a kiss with idol Madonna on stage at the MTV Awards ? an act which saw the pair criticized more than admired.
The kiss signaled the end of Britney?s pop-childhood and with the release of In The Zone and the hit single Toxic she began building a new fanbase. A drunken Las Vegas wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander ended in annulment after just fifty five hours but, rather than concentrate on her career, Britney continued leaning on the lovelife self destruct button. She, despite advice to the contrary, married dancer, aspiring rapper and all round rat-faced bad boy Kevin Federline in a trailer trash wedding in 2004 and within months announced she was pregnant.
Having given birth to son, Sean Preston, Britney seems to have put her career on hold despite the success of a greatest hits album and the launch of her fragrance, Curious. Meanwhile rumours persist about the state of her marriage to Federline with the press accusing him of taking no interest in his wife and son and of cheating on the singing star.
