A source told the magazine: "Britney blames most of her problems with drugs and alcohol on the heartache she experienced years before, during her time with Justin - she couldn’t trust him."

The book could prove juicy reading when finished. The source added: "She believes he constantly lied to her about other girls and that destroyed her self-esteem."

So if you’ve upset Britney over the years, watch out - it seems the singer will be exorcising all of her demons by naming and shaming those who’ve got on her bad side.

Britney’s wacky message - April 17 2007
Britney Spears vented her annoyance with the media rumour-mill by inviting a paparazzi videographer to record a seemingly earnest message for her fans and a sarcastic tirade apparently aimed at everyone else.

After inviting a videographer for the agency X17 to tape her as long as he didn’t ask her any questions, Britney, wearing a white fedora, shades and a blonde wig, started off by brightly telling fans: "I just wanna say hey to all my fans and I can’t wait for all of my stuff to come out - I’m really, really excited."

But the troubled singer’s piece to camera soon turned into a bizarre outburst, as she adopted a sarcastic "Valley Girl" accent to add: "I saw all these magazines, and they said I was pregnant, and like it’s so true. Like, America, believe everything you read because like you’re smart and I’m stupid. Like for real. C’mon y’all."

During the increasingly bizarre minute-and-a-half recording, in which Britney also rants that her management "totally know what they were doing because they sent me to rehab", Britney adds mockingly: "Like this lady told me, she said, ’Britney, go to the light. Go to the light and see Jesus, OK?’ And I was like, ’Ohmigod, I’m going to do it.’ And I did it. And it happened, and it’s just so weird because our world is so nice."

Let’s just hope she really is joking.

Brit and Kev’s very different weekends - April 10 2007
Britney opted to lay-low in LA, stepping out on Easter Sunday to attend a Lakers basketball game, followed by a bout of retail therapy at the Lisa Kline boutique, where she reportedly snapped up around 3,000 dollars worth of clothes and accessories for herself and her sons.

"She was in a great mood, ecstatic really," shop assistant Kate Levington told People magazine. "She was lots of fun to shop with. We had music on in the stores and she danced to the music and she ran around and picked out stuff for herself and her boys. You could tell she enjoyed herself."

K-Fed, meanwhile, chose to indulge in fun of a very different kind, with a boys weekend in Las Vegas.

Apparently still celebrating his undisclosed divorce settlement with Britney, which was hammered out just over a week ago, K-Fed left the kids at home to explore some of Vegas’s more adult spots.

After sunning himself at the Mirage’s private adult pool, Bare, on Friday afternoon, K-Fed dined at Nobu before partying at Jet, where he was showered with fake money by the club’s go-go dancers.

After hitting a second nightclub, Pure, where he took a turn in the DJ booth, K-Fed reportedly spent the rest of the night in strip club, Scores.

But, the would-be rapper was apparently intent on making it back to LA on Sunday morning to spend the rest of the day with his kids.
