You almost feel like you are in a Western movie giddy-upping with Clint Eastwood whilst tugging onto your Stetson hat. This track is in need of horsey-hoof beats to seal the deal, but inevitably you will be galloping along. Yay and not neigh (get it...oh well…).

Findlay Brown is making big waves right now. The release of his debut album, “Separated By The Sea”, has met with massive critical acclaim, garnering four and five star reviews across the board whilst his recent live shows have been going down a storm.
Blessed with a voice that will inevitably melt hearts, Findlay drapes the song in lush vocal harmonies, reminiscent of a long lost classic. The CD also features a tripped out Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve remix by Erol Alkan and Richard Norris as well as a spine tingling cover of the Jesus And Mary Chain song, “Just Like Honey”. Fin heard it whilst staying with his manager when he first moved back from Denmark and he loved the simple classic song writing, not a million miles away from his own.
The Yorkshire man began his musical career when he bought an acoustic guitar with money he got from selling a set of Beatles’ autographs given to him by his granddad.
When he first moved to London he had designs on being a hipster psyche rock star and consequently became the front man for krautrock influenced electro band Bodekka. The live shows were a full on heavy psychedelic experience and the band went to town on their outfits, which would have given Funkadelic a run for their money. They released a mini album, “Happy Nightmares” on Boy George’s label, More Protein and collaborated with Paul Epworth on a single before disbanding to pursue solo careers but not before James Mathe (who went on to form Barbarossa) had turned the young Fin on to the beauty of folk music. And that was it, Fin’s musical direction was sorted and his recordings incorporate elements of both psychedelia and folk to mesmerising effect.
