Booty Luv – Don’t Mess With My Man
Release date: Out now
Format: Single
Genre: Dance
Our Rating: 1/5
A disappointing cover version of the Lucy Pearl's classic from the former front ladies of Big Brovaz, not a patch on the original.
Big Brovaz could be relied on to take diverse riffs and samples to create something wonderful. But this could have been done by any of the faceless one hit divas that visit the charts for five minutes.
Let’s hope this formulaic effort isn’t representative of their upcoming album.

Press Release:
"The Booty Luv album is completely amazing. ‘Some Kinda Rush' is, particularly, so completely amazing that it almost goes beyond the dictionary definition of 'amazing' and hurls itself into the realms of being somehow - we know this is hard to imagine, but stick with it - BETTER THAN AMAZING.” - Popjustice.com
Fresh from the massive success of their first two singles, Booty Luv finally unleash their highly anticipated debut album “Boogie 2Nite”
Booty Luv are Nadia Shepherd and Cherise Roberts, former front women of chart-topping hip-pop act Big Brovaz. Their debut single “Boogie 2Nite” peaked at No.2 in the UK charts and stayed in the Top 10 for an incredible eight weeks, just shy of 200,000 copies (silver). The track was the most played record on Radio 1 two weeks in a row and eventually reached No.4 in the radio airplay chart. The follow up, “Shine” was also a monster radio and TV smash and also bagged them another top ten hit. If that wasn’t impressive enough the videos for both have racked up over 1.7million views on youtube.
Booty Luv’s third single, a reworking of the Lucy Pearl classic “Don’t Mess With My Man”, with the girls giving the track their own touch of luv and a whole lot of Booty! Since its release in 2000 the track has been a perennial favourite across the UK’s clubs and Booty Luv’s version brings the track bang up to date and ready to win over a whole new legion of fans.
