Sugababes join T In The Park - 11/03/03
Ex-Kingsbury High School students Keisha and Mutya from the Sugababes have been added to the bill for this year’s T In The Park.
The group will play the Main Stage on Sunday July 13, joining headliners and Coldplay and the Charlatans.
The festival, held on July 12 and 13 at Balado, near Kinross, will also see performances from REM and Supergrass.
The original Sugababes Keisha Buchanan and Mutya Buena met when they both attended Kingsbury High School.
They met third member Siobhan Donaghy at a party, formed the Sugababes and launched their critically acclaimed debut album.
The band moved to a new label in autumn 2001, signing to Universal, at the time there were tensions within the group and Siobhan left, Keisha and Mutya bought Heidi Range into the line-up.
The new reformed band has continued to go from strength to strength winning a Brit award this year
