Baby Borat 'is Olive' - Oct 26 2007
Baby Borat has been named - Sacha Baron Cohen and fiancee Isla Fisher have reportedly named their daughter Olive.
The couple welcomed the new addition to their family last week, and sources tell OK! that they have given that name to their baby girl.
Olive made her worldwide debut last Wednesday, October 17, in Los Angeles, but the 36-year-old British comedian and 31-year-old Wedding Crashers star didn't confirm the happy news until Tuesday October 23.
"They had a beautiful and healthy baby girl. Mother and daughter are doing great," said the couple's spokesperson.
Sacha and Isla started dating in 2002, and he proposed two years later. They have postponed their nuptials several times, and have yet to set a date for their wedding.
The couple, particularly the Ali G comic, are notoriously private about their relationship, but it had been previously rumoured that they would tie the knot in a traditional Jewish ceremony.
Baby Borat? - Oct 22 2007
Isla Fisher and her fiance Sacha Baron Cohen have welcomed their first child- a baby girl, according to reports from the actress’s native Australia.
E!Online and People.com report that the actress gave birth on Wednesday night, although spokespeople for both stars had no comment on the news.
Isla, best known in the US for her role as Vince Vaughn’s hyperactive love interest in The Wedding Crashers, first confirmed her pregnancy back in June. However, she has said she plans to take a break from movies following the birth, saying ""I haven’t got any plans to jump back into [work]."
The 31-year-old actress kicked off her acting career in Home And Away, alongside actress Melissa George, who is also now based in Hollywood, currently appearing with Josh Hartnett in 30 Days Of Night.
"Isla is the kindest, most beautiful woman," Melissa told People earlier this week, adding that Isla would make a great mum. "She’s got great humour, an amazing sort of temperament."
Sacha generates chuckles - June 4 2007
Most of the film spoofs for which the MTV Movie Awards are known were missing from this year’s event, but Sacha Baron Cohen managed to add some giggles to the ceremony.
The Ali G star won two gongs - one for Best Kiss with Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and another for Best Comedic Performance in Borat.
For the first acceptance speech, he berated a seemingly bemused Will for not calling him after their snogging scene and the pair ended up tangled on the floor in a passionate embrace.
After receiving his second award from a kilted Robin Williams, the star (as himself) apologised for Borat’s absence from proceedings.
"Borat can’t be here tonight - he’s been feeling the pressure of fame and has had to check himself into rehab," he quipped.
"Last Thursday morning, he was driving his horse and cart and crashed it into the fence of Jewtown, the police found that he was driving under the influence of fermented horse urine and found more than the legal amount of roofies in the back seat."
Borat fever made its way into another the night’s funniest skits, as a parade of stars like Kevin Spacey and Heather Graham made a heartfelt plea to stop a condition known as Boratitis, which renders its victims believing that they can do a good impression of the television host.

At Cambridge, he got a History degree and did his thesis on Black and Jewish cultures. Fascinating. Best known for his Ali G character, aficionados think that his Kazakhstani TV presenter character Borat Karabzhanov is much funnier. Apart from that we’re all waiting to see what he’ll do next.
