Emma Rich Enough - July 10 2007 Emma Watson has admitted she never has to work again as her role in the Harry Potter films has earned her a £10 million fortune. But the 17-year-old, who is returning to the big screen in Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, said she had no plans to retire just yet and is concentrating on her school studies, the Daily Mail reports.  "Let's be honest, I have enough money never to have to work again. But I would never want that," the actress told a US magazine. Emma has signed up to make the final two Harry Potter films, but when she's not filming, she spends her time studying. "People can't understand why I don't want to be a full-time actress but school life keeps me in touch with my friends. It keeps me in touch with reality.  I have a really secure network of family and friends. My parents are both lawyers and have no interest in being part of this industry." "The wait for me to sign the contract was much more about the fact that mine was a bit more complicated than Dan or Rupert’s," Emma explains. "It just took a bit longer to work out in terms of scheduling and thinking about how I was going to do two more Harry Potter films as well as my AS and A Levels and applying to university, because doing them alongside each other is no joke and you’ve really got to think it through. "Anyway, the media decided that this little wait was a definite ’no’ or that I was doing it for more money or whatever, but what can I say except that I’m so glad that I’m doing the last two, and I’m really excited," she smiles. "Warner Bros have been so supportive of me continuing at school and have come up with some very innovative ideas about how to make it work because obviously it’s a bit of a task!" 	Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Oxfordshire, England on April 15, 1990. She took the lead role in several plays at school, and participated in many other school productions, including the Daisy Pratt Poetry Competition, in which she won first place for her year at the age of seven. The role of Hermione Granger is Emma’s debut into professional acting - and what a debut! Emma didn’t expect to get the part at all, as she was competing against so many other actresses. But luckily for Harry Potter fans - she did! Away from acting, Emma is an avid hockey player, recently receiving her colors for the school team. She also enjoys rounders and netball, and likes to take part in all kinds of school activities including athletics and sculling. Her parents are both lawyers and are divorced, so Emma lives with her mother and younger brother Alex, 9. July 2007
