Will says he’s looking forward to returning to Exeter to relive his "mad" University days.

Exeter educated Will Young did his University thesis on domestic violence, and will be on a Radio One panel to take calls from anyone concerned about this issue.

The show will go on air on February 23rd and Will is to join Emma B and Dr Mark Hamilton as a guest presenter on the Sunday Surgery. All three will be on hand to take calls from anyone worried about this important problem.

The show is part of the ’Hitting Home’ season, and this will run from February 15 to 23 to coincide with the BBC also looking at domestic violence.

Exeter educated Will Young is keeping pop music’s hopes alive at The Brits 2003.

The Brit awards this year are dominated by an original, urban rap sound that the charts appeared to be missing for the majority of last year. Artists like Ms Dynamite and The Streets have four nominations apiece, and pop’s prince and princess Robbie Williams and Kylie barely get a mention this year.Until enter Will.

Will and his Pop Idol buddy Gareth are nominated for best British Pop act and Best British single (although Gareth is nominated twice for this award - perhaps the voters stuttered too).

Will also is nominated for best British breakthrough artist but faces stiff competition from the explosive Ms Dynamite! The winners will be announced on 20th February and will be on ITV later that night.
