Can Will Young get any nicer? The caring singer has put his name to The Children’s Society Safe and Sound Campaign and is urging others to do the same. The campaign is to help raise awareness of children who run away from home - particularly focusing on South Buckinghamshire which sees 1,220 kids leave home each year. Will spoke out, urging others to sign the petition, "the simple act of signing this petition will highlight the plight of children at risk on the streets."

Matthew 4 Will - August 04
Matthew Williamson got more than he bargained for when he invited Will Young to work with him. It was only a few weeks ago that Matthew was wishing he could work with Will Young and Will was wishing he had a boyfriend. But now, if rumours are to be believed, the pair are an item, having been spotted enjoying each others company numerous times. Will’s people have denied that the pair are anything but good friends but we really hope they’re bluffing!

Bob hires Will - August 04
Bob Hoskins has been meeting with Will Young to discuss an up coming movie.

The £10m project will star Bob and Dame Judi Dench along with Pop Idol’s Will Young. The film has no title as yet but is being described as a ’raunchy nude musical’.

Will’s award - June 04
Will Young has picked up the Ivor Novello award for Best Song.

The Pop Idol was presented with the gong for his hit single Leave Right Now, taken from his latest album Friday’s Child. The awards ceremony celebrates the cream of Britain’s musical talent and the recognition of Will in these awards cements his status as one of the country’s best pop stars.

Will wants boyfriend - May 04
Will Young has said that he wishes he has a boyfriend.

He might have the career and the money but Will says that he would really like to fall in love. He has been quoted as saying "I’ve never had a boyfriend - I don’t have one now. I know it’s tragic." The Pop Idol singer says he doesn’t want to complain "you can either be really paranoid about it or trust your instincts." Form an orderly queue chaps.

Will joins Beach Boys - May 04
Will Young will perform at a Welsh festival alongside pop legends the Beach Boys.

The Faenol Festival which will take place near Bangor this July will see Will Young headlining along with the Beach Boys, Bryan Ferry and tribute band Australian Pink Floyd. An eclectic line up if ever there was one.
