The blonde has been getting a lot of buzz for her lead performance as Andy Warhol’s most famous muse opposite Guy Pearce, but the film missed out on awards glory because it was released too late for voters to consider it.

At the Golden Globes, actress Sienna Miller was keen to dismiss press reports romantically linking her to actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

She told red carpet host Ryan Seacrest there was "absolutely no truth in it".

She added: "I haven’t seen him in a year and half, we’ve just been catching up, we’re buddies, old friends."

The actress, who wore a cream Marquessa dress and Cartier jewels, revealed she hadn’t wasted any time deciding what to wear.

"I looked at one dress, I’m a no-nonsense girl. Saw it, loved it, done!"

She corrected Seacrest when he said she was easy, saying: "That’s ambiguous in my country, I’m easy to please."

He then had to apologise for accidentally spitting on Sienna who went on to present an award.

The actress described the ceremony as a frightening experience.

"It’s lovely to be here and see people you know but the whole process is genuinely quite scary."

There was no danger of Sienna being without celebrity friends at the bash as she coyly revealed she was looking forward to hanging out with some A-list pals.

She said she’d be spending time with: "Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz. I like the girlies, I’ll be sticking with the girls."

Sienna Miller is rumoured to be dating her Factory Girl co-star Will Carter.

The British actress - who recently split from heartthrob Jude Law after a lengthy on-off romance - has told pals the US actor is "really sweet", reports The Sun.

The pair apparently got close on the set of the movie, about fashion icon Edie Sedgwick, and have enjoyed a string of dates since then. They were recently spotted at Tinseltown’s swanky Chateau Marmont Hotel.

"Sienna is naturally very flirty and she couldn’t keep her hands off Will. They seemed to really get on and have seen each other whenever they can, usually in Los Angeles," an insider told the paper.

"She says Will is really sweet, but she is also very focused on her career. She isn’t ready for anything as intense as her and Jude."

Although Sienna, 25, has been acting for several years, Factory Girl is only 38-year-old Will’s second studio movie. He has previously appeared in Gwyneth Paltrow flick Running With Scissors.

It seems Sienna Miller has admitted to having a secret weapon in her quest to slim to tiny proportions.

The ex-fiancee of Jude Law said she had to become a size 0 to play bulimic drug addict Edie Sedgwick in new movie Factory Girl, according to the Daily Express. And her strategy? Vodka.

"I decided to drink vodka instead of wine because it has fewer calories," the 24-year-old said.

Skinny Sienna is likely to upset nutritionists with her comments as they make no mention of fruit and vegetables or regular exercise.

Female stars are often considered role models for young girls who may go to extreme lengths to look as slim as the stars.

It’s not the first time Sienna has hit the headlines for her off the cuff remarks.
