Paris Hilton
- Profession: Hotel heiress
- Place/Date of Birth: New York City, 17 February 2021
"There’s not going to be a press conference today. I just spoke to Mr Hilton. They have no plans to make any statement," police Sgt Anthony Roberts told the media scrum outside the front gate of her grandparents’ estate in Los Angeles.
Although Paris, 26, kept out of sight, her presence was still clear up and down the block, from the TV satellite vans to the fast food lunch that was passed along to the assembled masses outside.
"Delivery for Paris from Taco Bell," one of two delivery people who arrived with bags of food said into the intercom outside the front gate.
"Thank you. Give it to the media and the police," a voice from inside the mansion replied.
As she stayed inside throughout the day, more than a dozen cars pulled up to the gate and were quickly buzzed inside.
At one point, a black Cadillac Escalade carrying balloons and a cake with the words "Welcome Home" in pink frosting arrived. At another, a van from DreamCatchers Hair Extensions, for which Paris is the celebrity front woman, passed through the gates. DreamCatchers receptionist Crystal Armijo confirmed the heiress was having extensions added to her hair.
Paris released from jail - June 26 2007
Paris Hilton has been released from prison in California.
The heiress had served 23 days of a 45-day sentence for a probation violation.
The Simple Life star left jail today after a bizarre, three-week stay in which she was briefly released to her Hollywood Hills home, then sent screaming and crying back to a county lockup.
The 26-year-old walked out of the all-women’s jail in Lynwood to an enormous horde of cameras and reporters just after midnight local time. It wasn’t immediately clear where Paris was heading.
The celeb socialite’s path to jail began on September 7, when she failed a sobriety test after police saw her weaving down a street in her Mercedes-Benz. Paris, who said she was hungry and on the way to get a hamburger, pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving and was sentenced to probation for three years.
In the months that followed she was stopped twice by officers who discovered her driving on a suspended licence. The second stop landed her in court and then in jail.
Her spokesman Elliot Mintz would not comment on what she planned to do after being released. That left Paris watchers everywhere to speculate about everything from where the hotel heiress would stay to what her first meal would be.

Paris agrees TV interview with King - June 25 2007
Jailed US heiress Paris Hilton will give her first television interview the day after she is released from jail, it has been announced.
Hilton plans to appear on CNN’s Larry King Live on Wednesday night, a spokeswoman for the show said.
"We do have Paris on Wednesday," said Bridget Leininger. "She’ll do the whole hour."
CNN’s announcement followed competition for the interview between US television networks ABC and NBC that ended on Friday with both saying they were no longer interested.
Both networks were embarrassed by reports that they were willing to pay the Hilton family for materials related to an interview.
However, a spokesman for King said the television interviewer does not pay for guests to appear on his show.
The hotel heiress and reality TV star is serving a 45-day sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
Sheriff’s Department officials announced on Friday that they expect to release her some time on Tuesday, but declined to be more specific.

She might be set to inherit an estimated $20m but that hasn’t stopped Paris turning her hand to a variety of ’jobs’ including TV star ? on The Simple Life, in which ex friend Nicole also starred ? movie star (with cameo appearances in Zoolander and The Cat in The Hat followed by a starring role in House of Wax), writer, albeit of her own autobiography, and model. These extra jobs are thought to have netted her around an extra $6m, a tidy sum which no doubt more than makes up for the ridicule Paris faces daily.
More recently Paris has get in on the music industry, founding Heiress Records on which she will produce her own debut record ? first single ’Screwed’ has already been leaked and, naturally, slated. She has also hit the headlines for becoming engaged to fellow heir Paris Latsis with whom she is regularly seen on the LA and New York party scene.
