The documentary features Charlotte and her mother slagging off Steven Johnson after he cheats on Charlotte with a model. George has said he knows "all their secrets" and will leak them if the documentary is shown. Nice man.
Good Example - May 04
Charlotte Church has told press how she was offered cocaine at the age of thirteen, but said no.
The singer says that somebody came up to her at a showbiz party not long after she became famous and offered her a line. Of course she said no and still maintains "I’d never do drugs". Good girl!
Charlotte’s mum speaks out - April 04
Charlotte Church’s mum has spoken out about the feuds she has had with her daughter.
Just after a psychologist reported that arguments between mother and daughter were a sign of a healthy relationship, Maria, who disagreed with this sentiment spoke to papers about arguments with Charlotte being like ’World War Three’. Maria says that it ’sometimes takes until you are in your twenties to realize what your mother has done for you’. A little presumptuous of her!
Didn’t take him long - March 04
What a surprise, Charlotte’s ex has sold the story of their relationship to the News Of The World.
The kiss and tell ’male model’ Steven Johnson reveals that a 16 year old Charlotte would creep out of her parents ?750,000 house to cuddle up with him in bed. She would throw a coat over her PJ’s (attractive, girl!), climb from her bedroom skylight onto the roof, and shimmy down a drainpipe to get a taxi to his terraced house. She would then get another cab to be back at her house by 8. This was quite dangerous as Charlotte’s room was three floors up, but she apparently said it was exciting.
Steven said ’Charlotte ran away from home because she was sick of her family and the way they wouldn’t accept me. It was so frustrating. I wasn’t a bad-boy tearaway. I’ve never been in trouble but they wouldn’t give us a chance.’
The pair moved instead into a ?450,000 waterside apartment, but Steven claims insecurity and jealousy began to plague Charlotte. He said "My modelling career was starting to take off but I don’t think Charlotte liked me getting any exposure"
"And if she found out there were other women at my photo-shoots it was a nightmare. She’d either come along with me or be phoning and texting my mobile constantly. One ridiculous night she even barred me from meeting Christina Aguilera."
The relationship came to a head when reports came through that Steven had kissed an air-hostess in a Cardiif club. "It was rubbish," insisted Steven. "But when I got back to the apartment Charlotte confronted me." "I did love Charlotte. But in the end it was a nightmare."
Show Me The Money - 20/01/04
The voice of an angel, Charlotte Church will have access to her multi million pound fortune next month.
Most of the singer’s cash has been tied up in a trust fund set up by parents Maria and James, which she thought she would not control until she is 21. Her lawyers have now told her the fortune is hers when she turns 18 on February 21.
Church told The Face magazine: "There’s no point leaving millions. I want to spend a lot of it while I’m alive."
Charlotte’s stumble into ex - 12/01/04

Five years later and Charlotte was making a name for herself at local karaoke competitions, and then...
"I was watching the Richard and Judy show on TV and they said they were looking for talented kids. No-one was around so I phoned up," she says. "The producers said I had to sing down the phone. So I did ’Pie Jesu’ and that was it, I was invited on the show. Mum and Dad were the last to find out!"
This led to even more television performances, as well as high profile concerts at the London Palladium, the Royal Albert Hall and Cardiff Arms Park. "It all went a bit mad!" laughs Charlotte.
Now eighteen Charlotte has become a media icon. A ill advised relationship with ’model’ and all round bad boy Steven Johnson and on going arguments with her mother have put Charlotte very much under public scrutiny, but it has only made her more popular. Charlotte will turn her hand to anything these days, she presented Have I Got News For You? made a guest appearance on a dance track and even starred in a film, I’ll Be There. She is a chat show regular, openly voicing her opinions about fellow stars in a very down to earth way.
She may be one of the richest teenagers in the UK after coming into her fortune on her eighteenth but Charlotte Church is as normal as they come.
