Blake Fielder-Civil
- Profession: Music video assistant
- Place/Date of Birth: 1982
- Associated with: Amy Winehouse
Prosecutor Mark Williams said Fielder-Civil was to have stood trial with co-accused Michael Brown, charged with assaulting Mr King, the landlord of Macbeths public house in Hoxton, London, on June 20 last year.
The court heard that shortly after midnight that night Brown entered into a confrontation with Mr King and tried to coax him out of the pub, but Mr King refused to leave.
Brown then allegedly grabbed hold of Mr King, causing him to fall to the ground, when Brown and Fielder-Civil proceeded to kick and stamp on Mr King.
Mr Williams said events developed last week with the allegation that Brown and Fielder-Civil had conspired to pervert the course of justice by offering Mr King a significant amount of money to withdraw his allegation and leave the country.
Judge Radford remanded Fielder-Civil on "technical" bail.
Fielder-Civil will reappear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on November 23.

The husband of singer Amy Winehouse has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, Scotland Yard said.
Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, of Jeffrey’s Place, Camden, north London, will appear with another man, Anthony Kelly, 25, of Constable House, Chalk Farm, north London, who has been charged with the same offence, at Thames Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.
A 22-year-old and a 19-year-old have been released on police bail to return on February 11, police said.
A 36-year-old man arrested in Derbyshire remains in custody at a north London police station.
Fielder-Civil is one of five men arrested over the last two days on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to a court case due to start on Monday at London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court.
In that trial Fielder-Civil and Michael Brown, 39, face charges of assault causing grievous bodily harm relating to an incident on June 20 this year.
The judge is expected to make a decision on Monday about whether the case can be heard at this stage.
Pictures of Ms Winehouse kissing Fielder-Civil as he was led away in handcuffs from an east London flat were published in Friday’s Daily Mirror.
In The Sun newspaper on Saturday, Ms Winehouse’s mother-in-law, Georgette Civil, is quoted as saying: "Amy’s totally distraught. She kept saying to me, ’I love him. He’s done nothing wrong’.
"She was really upset because she couldn’t go and visit him. Amy has told me she’ll stand by Blake whatever happens."

Famous for his turbulent relationship with singer Amy Winehouse, Blake Fielder Civil is a music video assistant by trade - apparently.
Fielder-Civil and Winehouse originally joined forces back in 2005 for a short-lived romance, which was unsuccessful due to Fielder-Civil already having a girlfriend. The break-up offered Winehouse emotional fodder for her album Back to Black, the release that formally made her in the music industry.
The couple ‘officially’ got back together earlier this year and were married in Miami in a ‘shot-gun’ style wedding.
However, as Fielder-Civil provided the creative fuel for her rise to fame, these days it seems he’ll also be the cause of her fall from grace. The couples continued drug use has created problems for his singer-song writer wife, whilst their apparent co-appreciation for ‘self harm’ has spawned all manner of allegations, including his participation in ‘self mutilation’ parties.
