Ant & Dec
Ant and Dec buy homes in same street 31 Jan - 2007
TV duo Ant and Dec are inseparable again - after buying houses in the same street.
The pair famously lived in neighbouring homes for 10 years until Ant McPartlin married last summer and moved to a new £2.3 million des res.
But his screen partner Declan Donnelly has followed him there, snapping up a £1.9 million property three doors down in Chiswick, west London.
The 31-year-old plans to demolish the Thirties mock-Tudor house and build a stunning bachelor pad in its place.
And he is said to have hired the same architect who designed Ant’s home.
Details of Dec’s lavish new pad are revealed in today’s Evening Standard newspaper.
The new property will have six bedrooms and a swimming pool with retractable roof.
Its basement will feature a golf simulator, jacuzzi and steam room, wine cellar, billiard room, home cinema and gym, according to the Standard.
Details include a 3ft 9in "trainers/shoes storage unit" in the dressing room and a laundry chute from the bedroom to the utility room.
Hounslow Council granted planning permission earlier this month.
The property will be similar in look to the modern home Ant shares with make-up artist wife Lisa Armstrong.
The presenters of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and latest ITV1 series Poker Face first bought neighbouring houses a few streets away in Chiswick when they moved to London in the 1990s.
Ant & Dec Joint birthday bash - Oct 05
To celebrate turning 30, the inseparable pair recently held a joint birthday party at the posh No 5 Cavendish Square. Those present included James Nesbitt, Tasmin Outhwaite, Robbie Williams, Cat Deeley (who, coincidentally, was celebrating her 29th) and Denise Van Outen and David Walliams who left the party together after some drunken antics. Oo-er!
Hall of fame - Aug 05
The names of actors Sir Laurence Olivier and Sir Alec Guinness are to join those of Ricky Gervais and Ant and Dec in a London Walk of Fame. One hundred celebrities will be immortalised on the Avenue of the Stars, to be unveiled on 18 September in Covent Garden. The ceremony will form part of an ITV1 tribute presented by Chris Tarrant.

Dec’s wreck - Mar 05
Dec injures himself as Saturday Night stunt goes wrong. Declan Donnelly was filming a motorbike stunt with his sidekick when things went a bit awry. The pair were filming the Ant V Dec Challenge for their Saturday Night Takeaway show, jumping bikes through blazing bales of hay as Dec crashed. An ambulance was called to check him over and found him to have a fractured thumb and elbow. Dec says he’ll be in a sling for the next couple of weeks but in true showbiz style the show will go on, mainly because "Ant won’t let me have any time off."
