A haven on Kensington Church Street. Decent beer, no nouveau designer stuff, it is what it is, a very nice pub. It has been updated sympathetically but it has not lost its old charm. It still retains just enough interesting nooks, crannies and hairy old drinkers.The Thai food was top notch the last time I eat here but that was 5 years ago to be fair.

Shame the Tea Palace on Westbourne Grove has passed into memory. There should be a mention for the Swiss Otel on the embankment who do a super afternoon tea with Djs, complete with stunning views across the Thames

New and I'm not sure how long it will last. I love films, I love coffee and I love the idea of screening classic movies downstairs. This stretch of Westbourne Grove is the Bermuda Triangle to cafes and small businesses, though. I hope I'm wrong however, so I'll spend a few afternoons there sipping on a latte whilst it lasts.
