Beautiful food upstairs and a great venue downstairs...everything you need on a night out and you only have to walk down the stairs to get from one to the other!

Very rare to find a restaurant in London that does great food and live jazz that isnt awkward! With so many places that have live jazz you normally find yourself counting the minutes till its over. With Bar Solo however, I cant wait to go back!!

We went there the other night. We started in Bar solo for some dinner...very very nice! two courses for a tenner as well!! Then we went downstairs to under solo for a drink or two. the cocktails were excellent and the staff in both were very friendly

Great place to lunch. Situated between the tube station and lock, this place is a gem for lunchtime dining. I haven't eaten there for dinner but can highly recommend the 'posh' sausage and mash. Only downside is this place is quite small.

I went for breakfast in Solo on Sunday following good reviews on the net. Sadly the servce didn't match up with my expectations. My breakfast came at the same time as my girlfriends starter, drinks didn't come until after we'd finished our meals and weren't as ordered and side orders weren't available, but we weren't told or offered alternatives. Another table had a meal missing. The food was good and price reasonable, but certainly wouldn't pay the 10% inclusive service charge, as the service simply didn't deserve it.

Me and my boyfriend went for a dinner there last thursday and I must say everything was exceptional; the service, the food and the ambience really helped us have an anniversery dinner we will never forget. Well done!

I love it! A real new york style basement jazz club and delicous food, even when you stumble in at midnight. There was a fab pianist there when I went recently who you can sing a long with - much fun! Also great veggie breakfasts for the morning after.

Solo is a multi-purpose place, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, does the bar thing at night. Food is good value, with many dishes under ten quid on evening menu. Good place for eating and drinking. Hearty, filling breakfasts, quick, tasty lunches and stylish dinners all with good portions. Handy for post shopping meal or relaxed business lunch.
