This is my favourite eat out in London, the staff are so friendly and the food is really great. They get it spot on each time without it ever getting boring especially the vegetarian dishes and specialities. The decor leaves a little to be desired but this makes a nice change from so many london resteraunts where they spend more time on making the place look good and you end up only getting mediocre food. It certainly doesnt take away from the great food and service. They do takeaway too which always arrives hot and on time. I thoroughly recommend this place and is worth the short walk off the main stretch of camden high street up to camden road.

Best curry I have ever tasted. I am Kamal's best customer! I go there 3 times a week. Service and friendliness of staff is second to none! It's lovely and clean inside, really cosy, not too big, just about right. Price is very, very good too - excellent value! Kamal, please, please bring back lunchtime opening! I miss your curries terribly! I tried another curry house since but it was no good and too expensive, I did not go there again. Do give me a call at work if you change your mind.

I have been to so many Indian restaurants in this town, Chicken tikka massala at Camden Tandoori is absolutely best in whole London!

"Mmm one dish, rice & nan bread takeaway for under a fiver - good, decent, tasty curry - try chicken patia (not on the menu) or excellent madras - a generally reliable local curryhouse - inside a little dingy but great value takeaways. Recommended."

Camden is well-known for its markets, liberal attitude and associations with popular culture. Since the 1960s, The Roundhouse theatre and music venue has been a centre of alternative culture, and later associated with punk and Goth subcultures.
