Avoid this sh*thole at all costs, now the good promotors and decent bands have fled the venue for better places, this is nothing but a draughty, filthy, squalid, dive with rubbish bands and crap sound. The outdoor smoking area's been closed and the inside is small and dirty so you end up spending most of your time standing out on the filthy dark freezing cold Kentish Town street. The place is being monitored by police and council for suspected drug use and underage drinking since what happened to the owner in his previous bar where a 12 year old nearly died from alcohol poisoning and all the complaints from neighbours, so be on your guard! The drinks are expensive, the music is crap, the venue sucks, and it's a good 10-15 minute walk from the tube / overland. FORGET about it, a wasted journey, an embarassment to take my mates to, needs to be closed down. Go somewhere decent instead!
Bullet Bar a few Wednesdays ago was great--The Wednesday Showcase--great sounds there and the host played a Uke which made the night. Place needs a bit of doing-up but great musical entertainment.
I think the place is brilliant. Has that slight grimey feel, but is stilla good bar, and does some good live music. I disagree with Priya, firstly, who alls a bar to arrange to go for a drink?? And then if a band is playing a bit of convo is ok, but a whole group shouting is blatantly going to irritate people?? I feel they didn't research properly, and would disregard his/her review.Would definitely recommend the place, but go in a group. Wouldn't want to be walking on my own from there to the station late at night. Despite being about 5 minutes away...
Went last night, Wednesday. Better on the inside than on the outside, needs doing up!Great night though, we went for the first free event. Could be amazing if they served food and did a paint job.Good promoter.
I stopped going to this bar because of the awful sound but I nipped in last Wednesday to see Rowetta (as we guys do) and I must say....I was impressed, there wasn't ANY of the usual feedback and terrible noises.Well done ---whoever is reponsible, I will definitely come again....well worth the five quid.
I went to a wednesday night here a few of weeks ago and have gone back pretty regularly ever since! There is a night down here called Wednesday Showcase with some seriously good live music hosted by a guy called Aaron, who's a great singer/guitarist himself. Friendly atmosphere and a great crowd. Would give it a huge thumbs up.

I've been to Bullet Bar a few times now and I must stress that each Wednesday I've been lately the night just gets better each week. The sound is good, the musicians excellent and the atmosphere is just what we're looking for on a Wednesday night.I must say that we think that it's very good value for money.
Great night last Wednesday at Bullet with Rowetta and Peter Brame. Very well organised and excellent sound, the Bullet is an extremely well run bar and with acts like these makes it a tempting place to go.
Great night for the oxfam shane sweeney band gig on tuesday. Really nice atmosphere and suited the music really well. very friendly staff... would recommend.
cant wait for the shane sweeney gig on the 7th!!
