Business group London First are deeply concerned by a proposed 50% quota of affordable homes for new developments in the capital. The proposal is being considered by Mayor Ken Livingstone who is keen to expand the supply of housing in London for people on low to moderate incomes. Mr Livingstone commissioned a study on the provision of affordable homes from Nottingham Trent University and consultants Three Dragons.
